So we made it into 2018! Yay! Since it is almost kind of the slow season around here, I'll give you a quick update of the things that we are looking forward to accomplishing this year.
To begin with, we've been working hard in the kitchen to come out with a couple of new flavors for the spring season! One of them, the Key Lime Pie protein paleta, is about ready to go out for a test run production. I've sent out some testers, and have gotten good reviews so far. I'm expecting that we will have it up and running by March.
The other flavor is a Mixed Berry protein paleta. I have to tell you, the color on this one is amazing - its a gorgeous purple, made from strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. But in the interest of fairness, this one is tough. I'm doing this one dairy free, and making it a vegan friendly ice cream. I think I've gone through at least thirty five different recipes trying to get it where it needs to be. I've sent out some samplers, and we are getting closer, but still not there yet. But soon. Just a little bit more midnight oil....
This season, we are also planning on attending more events, and meeting more of you guys out there! If you know of an event or competition that would be a good fit, let us know!
