Ahh, 2020....You Filthy Animal You

Well, its been one heckuva bumpy ride, and I don’t’ think that we are out of the woods yet, but we have made it this far.  And we are about to put 2020 to bed. And pray that 2021 is more reasonable.
So yeah, like many of the small businesses that we know, we took a pretty substantial hit this year.  Lean operating, reduced revenue, all that stuff.  But we did pick up a few new tricks, and made some new friends this year!

• We figured out how to ship our bars via our buddies at Fed Ex, and that in turn let us make some new friends in California (big shout out to Max Muscle Los Alamitos, Max Muscle Gilroy, and Max Muscle Morgan Hill), and in Florida (thanks, Fernando! At Max Muscle Wesley Chapel).
• We made it out to Rockwall, and met John at Ekin Nutrition!
• We joined the Go Texan movement!
• And we were still able to support a few competitions and events, like the
  • Met Con Mashups (shout out to Okie Crossfit and Crossfit Exile),
  • Garage Games Master Tour (at Crossfit Fort Worth East and 2819 Mission Crossfit),
  • Triple Threat at Crossfit Forney (actually competed in that one!)
  • Watagua Classic at Crossfit Watagua
  • Omega Fit Club at Omega Crossfit
  • NTX Throwdown at Crossfit Lavon. 
  • And we were still able to support the Dallas Five Throwdown, held at some pretty awesome gyms around the metroplex (Crossfit Full Sail, D-Town Crossfit, Rise Up Fitness, 2819 Mission Crossfit, Crossfit Forney, Crossfit Swashbuckle, Crossfit Templum, Crossfit Mexia, Crossfit Ellis, and Crossfit Watagua!!)
• We were given the opportunity to present to a huge corporation for some shelf space in their stores (results pending, fingers crossed!)
• Got some gorgeous new packaging (thank you Jose and team at Optimum Packaging!)
• And even got a couple of new flavors made and tested!
  • No sugar added Vanilla
  • Peach (still needs some work, not going to lie, will get it ready for summer 2021)
  • Peppermint (thanks for the idea and motivation, John and Ekin Nutrition!)

So for you guys that have stuck with us, we really love you and appreciate you.  I’m personally looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and helping folks get fit, in the fun and quirky way that we do.  I mean really, have your ice cream and eat it too?  #winning
One last ask from you guys, though…If you are planning on staying up on New Year’s Eve, can you please make sure that 2020 makes it out the door?
